After over 48 months in tirage, this wine is defined by an added layer of textural depth combined with Sta Rita Hills minerality and a beautiful note of honey. This is no doubt a lifted, bright and powerful vintage of our Estate Sparkling. The citrus zest, brioche notes and salty edge bring to mind freshly baked bread while the apricot and nectarine nuances bring the summer months to mind. A wine of wonderful contrasts from lightness to density and from ripe fruit to laser-like freshness. The extra time on lees has resulted in the finest Estate Sparkling to date. This is an immediately enjoyable wine that will no doubt bring pleasure over the next decade. The extra fine and energetic mousse and superb length on the finish give a microphone to the exceptional quality of the 2021 vintage.
